Job Brief
We are seeking an analytical Data Analyst to own reporting and ad hoc analysis for our team, reporting directly to the Analytics Manager. In your first 30 days, you'll learn our data models, dashboard suite, and query environment; by month three, you'll be independently owning key recurring reports and partnering with stakeholders on new analysis requests. This role offers direct visibility into how data shapes company decisions, with a clear growth path toward Senior Data Analyst or Analytics Manager.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL and modern ETL or data pipeline tools
- Build and maintain dashboards and self-serve reports in Power BI, Looker, or Tableau for stakeholder teams
- Run statistical analysis and exploratory data work in Python or R to answer specific business questions
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements before building a solution
- Validate data accuracy and investigate anomalies or discrepancies flagged in dashboards and reports
- Present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in clear, decision-ready formats
- Maintain documentation for data definitions, report logic, and dashboard ownership
- Support A/B testing and experiment analysis, including significance testing and result interpretation
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting tasks and reduce manual data pulls
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 2-4 years of experience in a data analyst, BI analyst, or reporting role
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data across relational databases
- Hands-on experience with a modern BI platform such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
- Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks is a plus
- Comfort using AI-assisted analytics tools, such as Copilot in Power BI or a similar natural-language query assistant, is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
