Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to build and maintain features across our web platform, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. In your first 30 days, you'll get set up in our codebase, tooling, and deployment pipeline, shipping your first small fixes; by month three, you'll be owning features end to end, from ticket to production, with minimal oversight. This role offers hands-on ownership of real product surfaces, with room to grow into a Senior Developer or Tech Lead track.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue
- Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js, Django, or a comparable back-end framework
- Translate designs from Figma or similar tools into pixel-accurate, accessible, functioning interfaces
- Write unit and integration tests to catch regressions before code reaches production
- Debug and resolve performance, cross-browser, and cross-device issues reported by users or QA
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving feedback to maintain code quality standards
- Deploy and monitor releases through the team's CI/CD pipeline, rolling back quickly if issues arise
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to scope technical feasibility of new features
- Keep dependencies, frameworks, and security patches up to date across the codebase
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with a strong portfolio
- 2-4 years of professional experience building and shipping web applications
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework such as React or Next.js
- Working knowledge of a back-end framework such as Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms such as Vercel, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to accelerate development
